About the Role
Based in BYD's Sydney office in Macquarie Park, this role will support our Training team. On offer is a Learning Designer position and your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:
1. Learning Designer:
Develop and design engaging, interactive training materials using Articulate Rise 360.
Create visually appealing training materials using PowerPoint, Google Slides, and other design tools tailored to meet organizational needs.
Ensure all learning content aligns with BYD's brand, training objectives, and product knowledge requirements.
Organise, store, and manage our libraries of information and training materials on the LMS.
Video editing experience using Final Cut Pro is strongly preferred but not required. Training Evaluation and Feedback:
Design assessments and surveys to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
Collect, analyze, and implement feedback to continuously improve learning modules and delivery methods.
2. Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with internal stakeholders, including HR, sales, and product teams, to identify training needs and ensure alignment with company objectives.
Liaise with external vendors and contractors for collaborative projects or specialized training.
3.Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive records of training sessions, participation, and outcomes.
Create detailed reports and presentations on training effectiveness and impact, offering actionable insights for improvement.
4. Training:
Occasionally help out by conducting training sessions either face to face or virtually
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Graphic Design or a related field is preferred.
2. Experience:
Ideally have 3 years or above of experience in instructional design, e-learning development, or corporate training.
Automotive industry knowledge is an advantage but not essential.
Training experience is an advantage but not essential.
3. Technical Skills:
Proficiency with LMS platform Articulate using Rise 360.
Strong command of design tools, including PowerPoint, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Familiarity with video editing tools and webinar platforms like Final Cut, Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
4. Soft Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on clear, concise delivery.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Adaptability to new tools, trends, and methodologies in learning and development.
